A 25-year-old Lower Saucon Township man was killed early Monday in a single-vehicle crash in the 1900 block of Waldheim Road in the township.

A 25-year-old Lower Saucon Township man was killed early Monday in a single-vehicle accident in the 1900 block of Waldheim Road in the township, according to a Lehigh Valley Live news story that cites Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek.

Tyler Mostek was a 2009 graduate of Saucon Valley High School.

According to the story, Tyler Mostek was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple blunt force injuries after he lost control of his vehicle for an unknown reason and struck a tree shortly after 7 a.m.

Mostek lived in the 1100 block of Spring Valley Road and worked at B&B Pools in Hellertown.

He was a 2009 graduate of Saucon Valley High School, where he was a member of the football team.

Lower Saucon Township Police are investigating the accident.

Mostek’s death is the fourth of a young person with Saucon Valley ties in little more than a week.

Tim Wilt, also a member of the Class of 2009, died in late August when he drowned in a swimming pool at his home in Sarasota, Fla.

Jenny Gross, a 34-year-old SVHS graduate who lived in Colorado, lost a battle with cancer during the last week of August according to posts on her Facebook page.

And Jessica M. Koehler, 34, died Sept. 3 at her home in Pocono Lake, according to a published obituary. Koehler, a former resident of Hellertown, leaves behind four children, the obituary published by C.R. Strunk Funeral Home of Quakertown said.
