Man Arrested After Police Say He Damaged Steps With Hammer

A Hellertown man was arrested Sept. 2 after police say he walked into another person’s home in the 100 block of Main Street shortly before 10:30 p.m. and began damaging the steps with a hammer.

A Hellertown man was arrested Sept. 2 after police say he walked into another person’s home in the 100 block of Main Street shortly before 10:30 p.m. and “began damaging the steps with a hammer.”

Police said David Charles Lea, 54, of the 1100 block of Main Street, will be charged with burglary, criminal mischief and criminal trespassing.
