Lower Saucon Township Police are investigating a criminal mischief case involving a mailbox in the 2300 block of Springtown Hill Road.

According to a news release issued Monday, the mailbox’s owner reported that it was hit with a blunt object–possibly a baseball bat or pipe–during the overnight hours of Oct. 14-15.

Police said the damage caused is estimated at $64, which is the cost to replace the mailbox.
