Shirley R. Unangst, 85, of Kintnersville, died Sunday, April 9, 2017 at her residence. She was married to Edward A. Unangst Jr. She was born in Northampton on April 21, 1931 to the late Earl and Verna (Heffelfinger) Kromer. Shirley graduated from Haff Hospital, Northampton with a nursing degree. She was a wonderful nurse, volunteer and restaurant owner through her years, but most importantly she was a woman of faith who was loving, strong and an incredible mother and grandmother.
SURVIVORS
Loving daughter: Andrea L. (Gary L.) Adams, with whom she resided; two grandchildren: Tasia and Trey.
SERVICE
A private service will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The interment will conclude services at Durham Cemetery, Durham Township. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
