Hellertown Police said in separate news releases Tuesday that they are investigating unrelated hit-and-run accidents in the borough.

Hellertown Police said in separate news releases Tuesday that they are investigating unrelated recent hit-and-run accidents in the borough.

In the first case, police say someone driving what was described as a grey tractor cab pulling a short trailer equipped with netting struck another vehicle at Main and Water streets at about 9:27 a.m. Saturday.

Anyone with information about that accident should call borough police at 610-759-2200 and reference incident number 172059.

In the second case, police say someone driving what was described as a grey Mazda hatchback struck another vehicle on Greystone Place–a residential cul-de-sac off Easton Road–at about 4:28 p.m. Sunday.

Anyone with information about that accident is asked to call Hellertown police at 610-759-2200 and reference incident number 172077.
