A Lower Saucon Township man is facing a Felony 2 charge of strangulation and other charges after township police say he was involved in a domestic dispute with another person at his residence in the 2200 block of Marlin Road June 3.

A Lower Saucon Township man is facing a Felony 2 charge of strangulation and other charges after township police say he was involved in a domestic dispute with another person at his residence in the 2200 block of Marlin Road June 3.

In a news release Tuesday, police said Brian J. Breslin, 54, was also charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment as a result of a “domestic violence situation” officers were called to at about 9 p.m.

According to court records, Breslin was committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail following a preliminary arraignment Monday before District Judge John Capobianco.

His preliminary arraignment before Capobianco is scheduled for 9 a.m. June 19.
