On the fourth day of highlighting Panther football record holders, Saucon Source wants to recognize junior Tim Weaver.
Tim is listed at 6’5″, 285 and wears #77. He played in the offensive and defensive line for the Panthers and was named a Colonial League First Team All-Star as an offensive tackle. Tim cracks the record books to tie for the 10th spot for Season Sacks (3).
Who’s #1 for Season Sacks? Kevin Branco had 10 sacks in 2003.
Tim said it: “My most memorable moments are the bus rides and preseason two-a-day practices.”
Coach Sams said it: “Tim was a 1st team All-League offensive lineman for us. Tim took a huge step from 2016 to 2017. During the 2017 season he was asked to start both ways on the offensive line and defensive line and did not disappoint. This is not an easy task for anyone, especially for someone with Tim’s size. He dominated his opponents on both sides of the ball. Tim is a determined young man who has plans to play at the next level. Furthermore, Tim is an intelligent football player who understands all schemes and can adjust when needed. He is very coachable and well-liked. We cannot wait to see what he brings for 2018.”
Congratulations Tim, and best wishes in the future. The Source is with you!
