A 40-year-old New Jersey man is in custody and charged with sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault of an unconscious person and indecent assault of an unconscious person, after borough police say he allegedly molested a Hellertown woman who was asleep at the time by putting his hands down her pants in early May 2016, according to a Lehigh Valley Live story published Wednesday.

According to the story, charges were filed againstĀ Omar Rojano-Coyotl, of Galloway Township, Atlantic County, in November 2016, although he wasn’t arraigned on the charges until Wednesday.

As of Thursday, Rojano-Coyotl remains jailed at Northampton County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail, according to county court records.

A preliminary arraignment in his case is scheduled for 9:45 a.m. Jan. 3 before District Judge Elizabeth Romig-Gainer, according to records.
