Little Panther Varsity Tourney Wrap-Up (Brought to You By Saucon Valley Handyman)

Saucon Valley 6th grader Cole Hubert won his FOURTH VEWL championship!

The Saucon Valley youth varsity wrestlers participated in the VEWL (Valley Elementary Wrestling League) Tournament this past weekend.  Thirty-two teams from throughout the Lehigh Valley and beyond competed at Easton Area Middle School for the two-day event.  Of the 17 weight classes offered, the Panthers, who were the North-Central Division champs, advanced 10 wrestlers to the second day of the tourney.  Seven of those ten grapplers made it proudly to the podium.  It was another successful tournament for the Little Panthers!

Carter Chunko came up just short losing 1-0 in the championship final.
