Henry J. Zorn Jr., 93, formerly of Hellertown, died Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Family Hospice, Pittsburgh. He was the husband of the late Olga Zorn, who died Jan. 3, 2009.

Henry J. Zorn Jr., 93, formerly of Hellertown, died Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Family Hospice, Pittsburgh. He was the husband of the late Olga Zorn, who died Jan. 3, 2009. He was born in Remlingen, Germany on Feb. 9, 1925 to the late Henry J. Zorn Sr. and Margaret (Koehler) Zorn. He served our country faithfully in the U,S. Army during World War II. Henry was a Production Scheduler at the former Hellertown Manufacturing for 20 years until retiring in 1982, and previously worked for the former Samette Manufacturing, Allentown, for 20 years. He was a member of St. John’s Windish Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.

SURVIVORS

Daughters: Christina L. (William F.) Stohl of Swampscott, Mass., Constance J. (Alan) Fermier of Dublin, Ohio; sister: Liesel Spadt of Allentown; grandchildren: Alison (Christopher) Sackett, Thomas (Emily) Fermier, Andrew (Melissa) Fermier; great-grandchildren: Brian Sackett, Brynn, Ella, Lucy, (Thomas) Fermier, Aidan, Evan, Owen (Andrew) Fermier. He was predeceased by siblings: Marie Spindler, Burkhardt Zorn.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 11 to 12 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 12 p.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
