A Bethlehem man is charged with misdemeanor theft and receiving stolen property, after Hellertown borough police say he allegedly stole a youth’s bicycle in the 800 block of New Jersey Avenue Monday morning.

In a news release Wednesday, police said officers responded to the scene of the theft.

They said they later located Victor Manuel Santana Vazquez, 19, of the 800 block of Argus Street, in the 700 block of Front Street in Hellertown after officers obtained a description of him from the victim of the theft.

Police said that after Santana Vazquez was arraigned Monday in district court in Lower Saucon Township he was released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
