Store surveillance from Andy’s & Pennewell’s Flower Shop in Hellertown shows an unknown woman stealing a banana tree from outside the shop early Monday morning.
Hellertown Police are on the lookout for a thief…a banana tree thief.
That’s since the owners of Andy’s & Pennewell’s Flower Shop at 1135 Main Street provided them with surveillance footage today that shows an unknown woman driving to the back of the building at 2 a.m. Monday and placing a banana tree inside her vehicle.
The vehicle appears to be a dark-colored compact sedan in the surveillance footage, which has been shared on Facebook and can be viewed below.
Anyone with information about the woman’s identity is asked to call borough police at 610-838-7040 or 610-759-2200.
