Two men arrested and charged with felony possession with intent to deliver marijuana in Hellertown earlier this month were in possession of nine pounds of marijuana, according to police and court records.

However, along with that they were also allegedly in possession of approximately seven pounds of “edible gummy bear marijuana” as well as “dozens of vials containing THC,” which is the main psychoactive compound in marijuana, borough police said Tuesday in a news release.

Police said the combined street sale value of all the items seized is approximately $20,000.

Fawad Anwari, 25, of the 1500 block of Ciara Drive, Hanover Township, Northampton County, and Mansoor Sultani, 30, of the 1200 block of Tyler Way, Hanover Township, Northampton County, were stopped by police following an accident on the afternoon of Aug. 14 in which their vehicle allegedly jumped a curb on Main Street near Water Street.
