If you have been held up recently by drainage work along Easton Road near the I-78 overpass in Lower Saucon Township, be aware that additional delays are likely in the near future.
The ongoing work is for a pipe replacement project, and is resulting in intermittent lane restrictions with flagging in the area where it’s taking place, which is between Ringhoffer Road and Countryside Lane.
PennDOT said Friday that motorists can expect this work to continue weekdays (weather permitting) between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. through May 31.
According to PennDOT’s weekly email, motorists should also expect lane restrictions with flagging for pothole patching on Applebutter Road in the township between May 21 and May 24 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The work will also be taking place along the road in the City of Bethlehem and Williams Township (along Lower Saucon and Island Park roads).
