Mark your calendars! The Hellertown-Lower Saucon Chamber of Commerce’s annual Music in the Park Summer Concert Series kicks off Sunday, May 19 at 6 p.m. in Morris J. Dimmick Park in Hellertown.
This year’s series will include four free concerts throughout the summer:
Sunday, May 19 – Gabe Stillman (blues/jazz music)
Sunday, June 23 – Billy Bauer Band (alternative/rock)
Sunday, July 14 – JOYOUS (R&B, funk, soul, pop)
Sunday, Aug. 25 – Tequila Rose (country)
At each of the concerts there will be a savory food truck and a sweet food truck in the park, as well as adult beverage vendors that will be donating back a percentage of their proceeds to ensure the concerts are held year after year. There will also be a local non-profit organization in the snack stand selling goodies as a fundraiser, according to information shared by the chamber.
Local business sponsors for the concert series and Hellertown-Lower Saucon Summer Restaurant Week (July 14-20) are still being sought, officials said.
