Shirley E. Walter, 83, of Lower Saucon Township, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017 at St. Luke’s University Hospital-Anderson Campus, Bethlehem Township. She was the wife of Raymond D. Walter.

Shirley E. Walter, 83, of Lower Saucon Township, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017 at St. Luke’s University Hospital-Anderson Campus, Bethlehem Township. She was the wife of Raymond D. Walter. She was born in Williams Township on June 22, 1933 to the late Isaac and Margaret (Lehr) Deemer. Shirley was a member of St. John’s Church on Morgan Hill, Williams Township.

SURVIVORS

In addition to her husband of 60 years; children: Nancy J. (Michael J.) Moninghoff of Easton, Kathie Ann (Jeffrey L.) Haag and Melinda D., all of Hellertown; four grandchildren: Gwendolyn, Tanner, Michaela Jo, David; and two great-granddaughters: Capri, Bexley. She was predeceased by a daughter: Amy Jo; and siblings.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2016 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown and 10 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, 2720 Morgan Hill Road, Williams Township (Easton). The calling hour at the church will be followed by the service at 10:30 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Raubsville Cemetery.
