Jon S. Yuhas, 78, of Bethlehem Twp., died Friday, March 3, 2017 at the Hospice House of the VNA of St. Luke’s, Lower Saucon Township.

Jon S. Yuhas, 78, of Bethlehem Township, died Friday, March 3, 2017 at the Hospice House of the VNA of St. Luke’s, Lower Saucon Township. He was the husband of Marga L. (Hoefer) Yuhas. He was born in Bethlehem on Nov. 13, 1938 to the late Stephen and Elma (Abbott) Yuhas. Jon served our country faithfully in the U.S. Army during peacetime. He worked as an auto body repairman at the former Hauser Chevrolet, Bethlehem, and a sheet metal finisher at Mack Truck for nine years. Jon was a sailplane enthusiast and a licensed pilot. He was a life-long member of the Soaring Society of America.

SURVIVORS

In addition to his wife of 54 years; sons: Jon G. (Kathy) Yuhas of Merrimack, N.H., Eric S. Yuhas of Allentown; sisters: Irene (Burnell) Schmoyer of Easton, June (Keith) Garrison of North Kingston, R.I.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

SERVICE
