Springfield Twp. Police Targeting Aggressive Drivers

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

If you’re driving aggressively in Springfield Township, Bucks County, police want you to slow down or be prepared to face legal consequences.

The police and public works departments in the mostly rural community announced this week that they recently partnered to install new thermoplastic lines on township roadways that will help officers identify speeding drivers.

The police department also announced that it will be conducting targeted patrols and enforcement of applicable traffic laws under the Pennsylvania High Visibility Enforcement Campaign.

In a post on the department’s Crimewatch site, police warned motorists to “slow down, or you could be seeing red and blue lights in your rearview mirror and be stuck paying a hefty ticket!”
