Leona K. (Keck) Callahan, 88, of Coopersburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was the devoted wife of the late Thomas W. Callahan, with whom she shared many wonderful years before his passing in September 2010. Born in Bethlehem on Oct. 11, 1936, Leona was the daughter of the late Leon A.J. Keck and Beulah (Hoffman) Keck. She was a woman whose life was rooted in faith, family and service to others. A lifelong and faithful member of Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church, Center Valley, Leona found joy in worship, fellowship and the church community that meant so much to her. Above all, Leona treasured her family. She lived her life as a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother with a heart full of love. Her happiest moments were those spent gathered around the table, at family celebrations and in the quiet everyday joys of being present with those she loved. She instilled in her children and grandchildren the values of kindness, faith and the importance of always putting family first. Leona also carried the deep memory of her late son, Scott, who passed in 1986. His memory remained close to her heart throughout her life, and she often shared stories that kept him alive in the hearts of her family.
