Dennis K. Reiss (1957 – 2025)

Dennis K. Reiss, 68, of Coopersburg Borough, Lehigh County, passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 12, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. Dennis was the beloved husband of Cherelynn (Yaich) Reiss, with whom he shared 38 years of marriage. Born in Bethlehem on Aug. 20, 1957, Dennis was the son of the late Kermit Harvey Reiss and Virginia Dare (Donnely) Reiss. He was a hard-working man who spent 25 years as a heavy equipment operator with New Enterprise (Eastern Industries), retiring after a dedicated career marked by pride in his work and a strong work ethic. Dennis had a deep love for the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman; passions that brought him great enjoyment and many lasting memories with family and friends. Dennis will be remembered for his dedication to family, love of the outdoors and the quiet strength he carried throughout his life.

SURVIVORS

In addition to his devoted wife, Dennis is survived by his children, Jeanine N. Reiss (Brad K. Hunsicker) of Lehighton and Justin N. Reiss (Monica) of Coopersburg; his siblings, Bonnie Ehritz (Tom) of Coopersburg, Rita Rumfield of Laurys Station, Nancy Bauer of Center Valley, Terry Reiss (Jan) of Pottstown and Donna DeSautels (John) of Center Valley; and his cherished three granddaughters, Libbie, JaSoulynn and Amayah, who were the light of his life. He was predeceased by his sister, Susan Cicon.
