Veterans Paid Tribute in Hellertown Ceremony

Hellertown's Edward H. Ackerman American Legion Post 397 held a moving Veterans Day ceremony at Union Cemetery Tuesday. Dozens of people attended the event, which included remarks by Legion Commander Geoffrey Baer, Hellertown Mayor Richard Fluck and State Rep. Bob Freeman (D-136), bagpipes, a patriotic medley performed by members of the Saucon Valley High School Band, and the presentation of pins to all of the veterans in attendance.
