Police Ask Residents to Lock Cars After Thefts from Unsecured Vehicles

Lower Saucon Township Police are reminding township residents and visitors to lock their cars after they say another theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred overnight Tuesday; the second such theft in as many days.
Lower Saucon Township Police said Monday they are investigating another theft from an unlocked vehicle in Polk Valley Park. Police said a purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle that was parked in the park's lower lot on Saturday, March 16 between 7 and 8:30 a.m.
Hellertown Police are reminding residents to lock their cars after several thefts from unlocked vehicles were reported recently.
Lower Saucon Township Police issued a warning to the public to 'please lock your vehicles and remove or hid any valuables,' after the department received another report of items stolen from an unlocked vehicle Saturday.
The laptop was stolen sometime between 8:30 p.m. Friday and 10:48 a.m. Saturday, and was later found in a trash can in Allentown, according to Lower Saucon Township Police.
