Volunteers Needed for Township Budget Advisory Committee

Lower Saucon Township is seeking volunteers to serve on a newly-formed Budget Advisory Committee. The committee will be comprised of the Township Finance Director, the Township Controller, a council representative, and, at minimum, two township residents with accounting or finance backgrounds.

The committee, which was included in the recommendations made by a 2014 study of the township’s budget process, will meet during 2015 and review the Finance Department’s policies and procedures. It will issue a report to township council by Oct. 1, 2015.

Residents interested in serving on this committee should email the Township Manager at manager@lowersaucontownship.org.
