Volunteer and fire police captain Bob Gearhart of Lower Saucon Township was named Se-Wy-Co Fire Companys 2015 Firefighter of the Year Dec. 28.
A well-known face at accident scenes and emergencies in the Saucon Valley area, Robert “Bob” Gearhart of Lower Saucon Township was named Se-Wy-Co Fire Company’s 2015 Firefighter of the Year and presented with an award at the company’s annual Christmas party Dec. 28.
Gearhart is Fire Police Captain “and helps out with many other duties at the department,” a post on Se-Wy-Co’s Facebook page states. It was noted that he is also the top responder to calls “year after year.”
