In a news release issued Monday, police said Brian Linde, 58, of Jefferson Street, “left the residence in anger” and drove the Mustang to a nearby parking lot, where he left it before walking to his mother’s home.

That’s where he was found at 4:45 a.m., still in possession of the keys to the Mustang, police said.

Linde is also charged with harassment and driving on a DUI-suspended license, the news release indicated.

In a separate news release, police said Linde was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana in a separate incident early Saturday in the 400 block of Front Street.
