Jon Lau currently serves as Dewey Fire Company Assistant Fire Chief. He has been an active firefighter with Dewey for 15 years. He and my mom Renea have been married for 20 years. Aside from being an active firefighter he has helped with my brothers with soccer, and he’s been in the HVAC business for over 20 years. He is one person that truly many people can look up to. He is an amazing father who always will go out of his way to make sure his family is taken care of. I first met him when he became my foster parent in 2004. Since then we have become closer than ever, and he has never once made me feel not like I am not his daughter. He is a great father, grandfather and firefighter. He always knows how to put a smile on somebody’s face. I just wanted to take time to show how much my family and this community look up to him. He is truly one man I am proud to call my father!
