Setsuko Miller, 92, of Bethlehem, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at VNA Hospice House of St. Luke’s, Lower Saucon Township.
She was the wife of the late John A. Miller Jr. She was born in Japan on Dec. 12, 1923 to the late Seizhiro and Konatsu (Takahashi) Takeda. Setsuko was a homemaker. Previously, she worked as a seamstress for Horn’s of Easton. She was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Roman Catholic Church, Palmer Township. Setsuko also volunteered at Easton Hospital for several years.
SURVIVORS
Daughter: Dorothy J. Durbin (Charles) of Bethlehem and daughter-in-law: Suzanne N. of Allentown; brother: Kazuo Takeda of Tokyo, Japan; grandchildren: Garrett, Natalie, Joshua and Sarah; and great-grandson: Alexander. She was predeceased by a son: James Miller; and a brother.
SERVICE
