A Bethlehem man was charged with theft of mislaid property, after Lower Saucon Township Police say he took a Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone that a 52-year-old man accidentally left in a restroom at Exxon, 3655 Rt. 378, Tuesday morning.

In a news release issued Thursday, police said Jason Kuehn-Kinney, 18, of the 600 block of Ridge Street, “admitted to taking the cell phone from the bathroom” after officers identified him as a suspect and questioned him about it.

Kuehn-Kinney gave the cell phone to officers who returned it to the victim, police said.

They added that Kuehn-Kinney was released on his own recognizance after being arraigned before District Judge David Tidd.
