Kyle B. Civitella, 35, of Allentown, died Friday, July 8, 2016 at his residence. He was the husband of Laura K. (Majchrowski) Civitella, who he married on Oct. 27, 2014. He was born in Wilson Borough on Dec. 16, 1980 to Ronald L. and Patricia M. (Bennett) Civitella of Hellertown. Kyle served our country faithfully in the U.S. Air Force as an electrical engineer during the Iraq and Afghanistan wars as a Staff Sergeant, and honorably retired as a disabled veteran. He was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Emmaus, and the VFW Post, Emmaus. Kyle earned a Bachelor’s degree from Muhlenberg College in history and religion.
SURVIVORS
In addition to loving wife; parents; the joy of his life, daughter: Jocelyn Lee, at home. He was predeceased by his brother: Jason Lee Civitella (March 8, 2007).
SERVICE
Family and friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2016 and 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown, Pa. The Wednesday calling hour will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Anne’s Church, 415 S. 6th St., Emmaus, Pa.
