A Hellertown man was issued a citation for harassment after borough police say he allegedly threatened a neighbor who called police to report a domestic dispute the man was allegedly involved in Aug. 3.

A Hellertown man was issued a citation for harassment after borough police say he allegedly threatened a neighbor who called police to report a domestic dispute the man was allegedly involved in Aug. 3.

In a news release issued Monday, police said witnesses told them Richard A. Transue, 33, of the 1200 block of Second Avenue, “threatened to put a bullet in the head of his neighbor for calling police.”

Police said the harassment citation will be mailed to Transue by the district magistrate’s office.
