A Lower Saucon Township man is charge with fleeing and eluding law enforcement in Wassergass after township police say he allegedly fled from officers following a ‘domestic situation’ on Lower Saucon Road early Wednesday.

A Lower Saucon Township man is charged with fleeing and eluding law enforcement in Wassergass after township police say he allegedly fled from officers following a “domestic situation” on Lower Saucon Road early Wednesday.

In a news release police said officers were dealing with the

situation and looking for Jonathan Jordan, 22, when “he returned to the area and fled from police” shortly after 2 a.m.

According to court records, Jordan is charged with Fleeing or Attempting to Elude an Officer (Felony 3), Recklessly Endangering Another Person (Misdemeanor 2) and numerous summary charges, including reckless driving and speeding.

Following a preliminary arraignment before District Judge John Capobianco Wednesday, Jordan was committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $7,500 bail, the records state.

A preliminary hearing before Capobianco is scheduled for 9 a.m. June 21.
