Temperatures are heating up and so are the deals on pet products and patio furniture at Neighbors Home & Garden Center in Hellertown this weekend!

This Saturday, June 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. the store will host its “Dog Days Of Summer” event featuring great specials and doggie goodie bags in the pet department, free samples from an Annamaet representative, pet adoptions from the Center for Animal Health and Welfare, and goats and chickens from Blue Barnyard in Lower Saucon Township.

The pet-friendly fun will kick into high gear with a “Best Summer Dressed Pet Contest” from 11 a.m. to noon judged by local celebrities.

Bring your pet dressed in their summer best for a chance to win a $100 gift card redeemable at Neighbors’ pet department, or just come out to watch some four-legged fur-kids strut their stuff!

For lunch, pick up a hot dog from the Hellertown Lions Club, who will be serving delicious fresh-cooked wieners from their hot dog wagon.
