Spring will come early at the 2019 Philadelphia Flower Show, and all community members are invited to join Christ Lutheran Hellertown as they visit the largest horticultural event in the nation by bus on Tuesday, March 5.
This year ’s theme is “Flower Power,” and pays tribute to the enormous impact of flowers on our lives, as well as celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Woodstock music festival and the era of “Flower Power.”
Floral and garden designers will explore how flowers convey a wide range of emotions and messages that transcend cultures and borders. Stunning landscapes, imaginative gardens and breathtaking floral displays will be featured across 10 acres of show floor at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
Visitors to the 2019 show will also witness–for the first time in nearly a quarter of a century–the FTD World Cup 2019. The international floral design competition will take place at this year’s Flower Show, showcasing award-winning floral designers representing more than 20 countries.
The group rate of $65 per person includes transportation and admission.
