Beethoven Waldheim Anniversary Bash to Be Held on Key Day (Sponsored)

If you’re already a Beethoven Waldheim Club member, you don’t want to miss Key Day and the one-year anniversary of the club’s reopening Saturday, March 2. If you’re not yet a member, you just may want to apply for membership beforehand–or plan to attend as a guest of a member–so you can join in the fun.

If you’re already a Beethoven Waldheim Club member you don’t want to miss Key Day and the one-year anniversary of the club’s reopening Saturday, March 2. If you’re not yet a member, you just may want to apply for membership beforehand–or plan to attend as the guest of another member–so you can join in the fun.

A long-held annual tradition at the Waldheim, Key Day in years past was when club members received new keys to the club. Today those keys have been replaced with high-tech key fobs that are lighter and easier to use.

The use of key fobs is just one of many exciting changes the club and its board have introduced over the past year.

When the club reopened in 2018, it did so as a non-smoking facility, with a sleek, remodeled granite bar and on-site vendors there to serve up delicious burgers, chicken fingers, nachos, fries, cheesesteaks and other food favorites.

Today, flatscreen TVs, high-top tables and polished concrete floors give the renovated barroom at the Beethoven Waldheim Club a warm, modern vibe.

There is also a jukebox, shuffleboard, popular beers on tap and a full bar.

What hasn’t changed at the club are the friendly atmosphere and good times for which it’s always been known.

Good times will be the order of the day at Key Day, when one of the most popular live bands in the Lehigh Valley performs a free show at the club.

Known as the “Ultimate 80s Band,” M80 will perform your favorite  pop and rock hits from back in the day!

Key Day begins at 2 p.m. and is free for members and $10 per guest. A one-year club membership is just $25 per person.

The club has developed an online renewal form/new member application to help make it easier to renew or apply for a new membership. Click here to fill it out. (Please note that new members need to include two club sponsor names on their application. New member applications are voted on at board meetings, which are held the third Thursday of the month.)

Celebrate Beethoven Waldheim

If you plan to renew your membership or apply for one at Key Day, volunteers will be there to assist you. Access will be via the upstairs entrance and board members will assist with providing guest wristbands.

Don’t forget that this event is for members and guests only, so why not become a member this month and be there for all the fun? You’ll also never miss another fun night with friends at the club.

For more information about Key Day, follow the Facebook event, where additional details will be posted in the discussion in the coming days.
