Although communities throughout the Lehigh Valley such as Bethlehem and Upper Saucon Township held their Trick-or-Treat night on Friday, Hellertown borough and Lower Saucon Township did not, leading some local residents to wonder when their candy-filled celebration will take place.
In the Saucon Valley this year, Trick-or-Treat will be held on Thursday, Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. And for families who want a more contained experience, there will be a community trunk-or-treat held in Hellertown’s Dimmick Park from 5 to 7 p.m. on Halloween night.
Want to get a jump start on all the candy-collecting fun? Stop by the Saucon Valley Farmers Market Sunday for Trick-or-Treat at the market, which takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. next to the Hellertown Area Library at 409 Constitution Ave. Participating vendors will have treats to hand out and costumes are encouraged. Lehigh Valley Service dogs will also perform tricks and provide a demonstration, as will the Lower Saucon Township Police Department K-9 unit.
