A local business is recognizing the men and women who have defended the U.S. this Veterans Day.

Fork’d Handmade Pierogies will honor local veterans with a free six-pack of frozen pierogies on Monday, Nov. 11.

Veterans can visit Fork’d’s kitchen at 1995 Leithsville Road, Hellertown (located behind Lower Saucon Fire Rescue’s Leithsville fire station) between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to receive their free pack.

In addition to the giveaway, Fork’d will offer veterans a 20 percent discount at all farmers markets they attend on Sunday, Nov. 10 (including the Saucon Valley and Coopersburg farmers markets) and Sunday, Nov. 17 (including the Saucon Valley and Berwyn farmers markets).
