Although skies were overcast and it was a bit cool, the weather cooperated and hundreds of car enthusiasts from throughout the region were able to enjoy a cornucopia of classic and other vehicles on display during the first-ever Promenade on Wheels car show at the Promenade Saucon Valley in Center Valley Saturday.

A borough resident from 1984 until his death in 2024, Chris Christian considered himself a ‘Hellertonian’ even though he grew up in New York City. After his retirement from Lehigh University, he enjoyed sports photography and his interaction with the participants of Saucon Valley sports teams.
