Tuesday's serious accident involving a garbage truck at the intersection of Route 412 and Flint Hill Road bore an eerie similarity to one that destroyed the Leithsville fire station in May 2012. In both cases, the brakes on heavy trucks failed as the vehicles were headed down Flint Hill toward the Leithsville fire station.
