Ella Limpar, 84, of Bath (OBITUARY)

Ella Limpar, 84, of Bath, died Monday, March 23, 2015 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. She was born in Bethlehem Township on Feb. 20, 1931 to the late Joseph Sr. and Anna (Zurko) Senick. Ella retired from AT&T, Allentown after 22 years of service. SURVIVORS

Children: Edward M. Limpar of the Lehigh Valley, Thomas J. Limpar of  Northampton; siblings: John Senick, Edward Senick, Thomas (Elaine) Senick, George (Barbara) Senick, Paul (Jill) Senick, Anna Kerecz, Dorothy (Albert) Timko, Helen Young, all of Bethlehem Township, Theresa (Richard) Venseret of Nazareth,  Catherine (Harry) Fisher of Bethlehem; two grandchildren: Olivia and Sasha; and three great-grandchildren.

Kitchen, Bath Design Center to Open in Hellertown

Members of the Hellertown Planning Commission Wednesday unanimously approved a plan for a kitchen and bath design center in the former Kasey Lynn’s cafe at 1308 Main St. Maui Kitchens Inc. owner David Iacovone said the store will sell custom kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, and “there’s not much more to tell.” He plans to install an outdoor sign similar in size to the one that hung outside Kasey Lynn’s, which closed late last year. Iacovone said that while he hasn’t decided on his hours yet, the store will most likely be open seven days a week, as well as a couple of evenings. “I have no comments or questions.
