All 8 Saucon Valley Wrestlers Advance to Hershey

Eight Saucon Valley wrestlers made it to the PIAA "AA" regional tournament at Wilson West-Lawn over the weekend and all eight will now continue to the "Big Show" at Hershey. The Panthers demonstrated, once again, that they are a wrestling powerhouse. Overall the Panthers finished second in the team standings with 125 points--three points behind Boiling Springs.

Panthers Crown Four District XI Champs; Advance Nine to Regionals!

If anybody in the District XI area had any hopes of getting a little payback from the Saucon Valley wrestlers for their successful dual meet season, they are out of luck this year. The Panthers dominated the tournament crowning four champions and advancing nine wrestlers to Regionals next weekend.

SAUCON VALLEY WRESTLERS EARN TRIP TO 2016 PIAA STATE FINALS!

The Saucon Valley Panthers had the eye of the tiger to start the PIAA semifinal against the Boiling Springs Bubblers last night and they kept that focus throughout the entire match. For their efforts, they were rewarded with a 42-16 victory and a trip to the 2016 PIAA State Finals.

Dylan Yonney not only helped the Saucon Valley Panthers advance to the 2016 PIAA semifinals with a 4-2 decision over Isaac Bengal of Fort LeBoeuf, he tallied his 100th win along the way!

The Saucon Valley Panthers appear to be hitting their stride right now and the timing could not be better. You get a sense watching them the last couple matches that they turned up their "wrestling-mojo" a notch. The Panthers tore apart the Tigers in the semifinal and then dominated the Lehighton Indians in the District XI final.

Saucon Valley High School's wrestling squad needed two more wins Wednesday night to secure their fourth consecutive Colonial League wrestling title and two wins is exactly what they got. Now, the 2013, 2014, 2015 and the 2016 Colonial League titles all belong to the the Saucon Valley Panthers.

Last night with a thumping of the Notre Dame Crusaders, the Saucon Valley Panthers finished the regular season 18-0 and earned themselves the top seed in the upcoming Colonial League tournament on Wednesday evening at Catasauqua High School. With two more wins Saucon Valley will accomplish what no other Panther program has ever achieved--FOUR consecutive league titles.

Poised Panthers Pound Pen Argyl 44-21

There was a Saturday night fight in Pen Argyl last night and the Saucon Valley Panthers came out on top. Winning 10 of the 14 matches including four by fall, the Saucon Valley Panthers wrestling team took the next step toward a fourth consecutive Colonial League championship.

Panthers Hammer Roughies 70-3

Last night was Youth Night and the hometown Panthers did not disappoint the young crowd. The Saucon Valley Panther wrestling team won 13 of 14 matches and took the next step toward a fourth consecutive Colonial League title. The Panthers improved to a 15-0 record as they barreled their way to a 70-3 victory over the Catasauqua Rough Riders.
