Coach Chad Shirk's 2016 Saucon Valley wrestling squad seems to be ready for takeoff as the heart of the Colonial League schedule is on the horizon. The Panthers rang in the New Year with a dominating team performance going 5-0 at the Canner Duals yesterday outscoring their opponents 314-39.
The Panthers took the first step toward a fourth consecutive Colonial League title with a 63-3 thumping of Southern Lehigh. Saucon earned pins in 8 of the 12 matches wrestled as the Panthers made quick work of Southern Lehigh in their home opener.
