Fence Badly Damaged in Bingen Road Hit-and-Run, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police are investigating a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident in the 3300 block of Bingen Road in which they say $1,500 to $2,000 in damage was caused to a fence.

A split-rail fence in the 3300 block of Bingen Road, Lower Saucon Township, was damaged in a Dec. 21 hit-and-run crash according to police.

According to a news release issued Monday, the accident occurred on or about Dec. 21 and resulted in damage to 18 fence rails and six fence posts.

“The suspect vehicle is believed to be a pickup truck and will have a damaged left front marker light or headlight,” police said.

Anyone with information about the responsible vehicle or the accident is urged to call the Lower Saucon Township Police Department at 610-317-6110.
