A 5K walk/run planned for Saturday, April 25 in Upper Saucon Township will raise money for the Truth for Home Center–an organization that is dedicated to helping local women who have been victims of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation.
In particular, the event will help to raise funds for the Truth Home–a therapeutic residential facility that offers oa safe place for women seeking to rebuild their lives.
The annual 5K Walk/Run for Freedom will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Upper Saucon Township Community Park on Preston Lane, Center Valley, and will be followed by a brunch.
Registration will begin in the park at 9 a.m.
Online registration is available for the 5K through April 19 and costs $25 for adults, $15 for college students (with ID) and $15 for kids 13 and older. Children under the age of 13 can register for free.
Sponsorship awards are also available for participants who collect $25 or more in sponsorships (while supplies last).
