Lower Saucon Township Police said Friday that a car crash at Bingen and Saucon Valley roads resulted in a man being taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network for treatment.
In a news release, police said the accident happened at 5:49 p.m. Thursday, when Christine Nemeth, of the 700 block of E. Tilghman St., Allentown, turned left onto Saucon Valley Road and–allegedly–into the path of a vehicle driven by a Coplay man.
According to police, both vehicles were disabled and had to be towed as a result of the wreck.
Nemeth was cited for careless driving, police said.
