A popular pretzel shop is expected to open at the Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley in Center Valley in early April.

Lancaster-based Auntie Anne’s–which has several other locations in the Lehigh Valley–will open inside a suite that also houses YoGo Factory, a frozen yogurt shop.

YoGo Factory–which is located next to PacSun, near the Carmike multiplex–is currently closed while renovations are in progress, according to information on the “Coming Soon” section of the Promenade Shops website.

“Once open, guests will be able to order from an extensive Auntie Anne’s menu of hand-rolled pretzel products ranging from sweet Almond to savory Roasted Garlic Parmesan to Sour Cream and Onion,” the statement says. “Guests will also be able to pick up the portable Pretzel Nuggets, Pretzel Dog or Mini Pretzel Dogs, and pair them with a refreshing signature lemonade, fruity Lemonade Mixer or frozen drink.”

Auntie Anne’s is currently hiring for positions at its new Promenade Shops location, according to a March 8 jobs posting on Craigslist.

“We will be opening in less than three weeks and (are) looking for goal-oriented, ambitious team players who would be interested in working in a fast-pace, upbeat environment,” the ad says.

Interviews will begin the week of March 14.

Auntie Anne’s was founded in 1988 and currently has more then 1,500 locations worldwide, according to its Wikipedia entry.

A 2014 Huffington Post story about the company notes that company founder “Auntie” Anne Beiler was born to Amish parents and left school after eighth grade.
