Andrew Scott Dudash, 25, of the 100 block of Constitution Avenue, Hellertown, was driving a car that left the house following a suspected 1:30 p.m. drug deal at a home that was under police surveillance following complaints, according to an article published Wednesday on LehighValleyLive.com.

Bethlehem Police followed Dudash’s car and stopped it on Rt. 378 near Rt. 22, where they allegedly found him to be in possession of a loaded .38 caliber pistol and heroin, the article indicated.

Dudash was arrested and later charged with carrying a firearm without a license, according to online court records, which indicate he was committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.

He has since been released after posting bail, WFMZ Channel 69 News reported.

Arrested in a police-conducted raid at the Pawnee Street home were residents Chelsea Cressman, 22, Jordan Appel, 21, Jennifer Hauzie, 43, and Paul Vermuellen, 47, the news station reported.

Also arrested along with Dudash was a passenger in his vehicle, identified by police as Tyler Miller, 25, of the Pawnee Street address, according to the reports.

Miller has been charged with heroin possession and also had more than $500 in cash in his possession at the time of his arrest, according to the Channel 69 News article, which along with the other stories cites a news release issued by Bethlehem Chief of Police Mark DiLuzio.

The Morning Call reported that heroin was allegedly found inside the Pawnee Street home– along with Xanax and marijuana–but not in large amounts.

Appel and Cressman are being charged with possession of drug paraphernalia; Hauzie is being charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia; and Vermuellen is being charged with posession of Xanax, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the articles.
