Lower Saucon Township Police said Sunday that a local man has been charged with theft of lost or mislaid property for allegedly stealing an iPod put down by a customer inside the American Family Services thrift store at 1804 Leithsville Road on the afternoon of May 4.

In a news release, police said Roy Graser, of the 300 block of Main Street, Freemansburg, allegedly took the iPod after it was set down by a boy shopping with his parent.

In an earlier news release, police said “(the) victim…stated that after discovering the iPod missing and going back to the location they last saw it, they could not locate it.”

As part of their investigation into the theft, police released store surveillance photos of the man they said they believed to be the thief.
