Morris J. Laslo Sr., 78, of Salisbury Township died Sunday, May 22, 2016 at his residence. He was the husband of Amelia J. (Laurido). Morris was born in Fountain Hill on Feb. 12, 1938 to the late Geza and Viola (Berger). He worked for Laneco and various stores as a meat cutter for 29 years until retiring in 1997. Previously, he worked at the former Table Supply, Allentown for nine years. Morris served his country honorably during peacetime in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Salisbury Volunteer Fire Company, Monocacy Field and Stream Association and the VFW 2124, South Allentown. Morris was an avid outdoorsman. He devoted his life to his beloved granddaughters.

In addition to his wife of 56 years; son: Morris J. Laslo Jr. of Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley, Calif.; daughter: Juanita L. (Mark) Peters of Upper Macungie Township; brothers: Geza Jr. (Charlotte) of Allentown and John of Palm Springs, Calif.; sisters: Dolores Bednar of Forks Township, Janet (John) Ortwein of Allentown, Lucille (William) Reichel of Krumsville and Elaine Johnson of Lewes, Del.; granddaughters: Sydney, Rachel Amelia and Tiana Peters; great-grandson: Javian. Morris was predeceased by brothers: Julius and Allen; and a sister, Shirley.
