A Bethlehem woman who was arrested by Lower Saucon Township Police for alleged DUI following a traffic stop Sunday evening at Rt. 378 and Koehler Drive was determined to have a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .39 percent, according to a news release police issued Thursday.

That BAC is nearly five times the legal limit of .08 percent.

Police said Elizabeth A. Reed, 53, of the 400 block of Forrest Avenue, was stopped after another motorist reported that a “tan Subaru was weaving in and out of its lane of travel” and on Rt. 378 shortly after 8 p.m.

According to police, Reed was determined to be the motorist and was then stopped, administered field sobriety tests and arrested.

She was also found to be driving with an expired license, police said.
