Where to Expect Road Work in Lower Saucon: April 9-13, 2018

With spring’s arrival comes an ever-growing list of planned road projects. PennDOT says several projects will take place in Lower Saucon Township the week of April 9-13, weather permitting. All of the work will be performed by PennDOT maintenance forces.

With spring’s arrival comes an ever-growing list of planned road projects.

The following is a list of planned road work projects that PennDOT says will take place in Lower Saucon Township the week of April 9-13, weather permitting. All of the work will be performed by PennDOT maintenance forces.

Motorists should keep in mind that the Meadows Road Bridge near Rt. 412 in Lower Saucon Township remains CLOSED for safety reasons following a Northampton County inspection.

1. Interstate 78 between Exit 59 (Rt. 145) and Exit 75 (Rt. 611) in various municipalities for sweeping April 9-13 from midnight to 6 a.m. No restrictions will be in effect.

2. Rt. 412 between Polk Valley Road and the Bucks County line in Lower Saucon Township for shoulder work/widening April 9 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Expect lane restrictions with flagging.

3. Polk Valley Road between Rt. 412 and Reservoir Road in Lower Saucon Township for shoulder work/widening and roadway reflector installation, April 10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Expect lane restrictions with flagging.

4. Easton Road/Raubsville Road between Cherry Lane and Rt. 611 in Lower Saucon and Williams townships for roadway reflector installation, April 11-13 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Expect lane restrictions with flagging.

5. Easton Road/Raubsville Road between Cherry Lane and Rt. 611 in Lower Saucon and Williams townships for shoulder work/widening, April 11-13 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Expect lane restrictions with flagging.
